The AuraGold Farms Australian Rain Plum Sugar Free Mixer is designed as a an alcohol-free option able to be taken on its own as an early morning pick-me-up and alkaliser, or over ice with a favourite spirit.

The Australian Rain Plum is naturally very tart and alkaline so when we needed a sweetener we choose concentrated apple juice creating a very palatable and unique drink product. Our health aware customers want ‘sugar-free’ where ever possible and we have met their needs at the same time creating a product 100% focused on aiding the digestive and antioxidant-boost- process due the plum’s high level of alkalinity.

By creating a mixer product from Pure Ooray Rain Plum we have also introduced the customer to a uniquely Australian indigenous fruit worthy of its place in an international health drinks line-up.

The Australian Rain Plum Sugar Free Mixer is predominantly pure pureed plum fruit with a small percentage of Australian apple concentrate added as the sweetener. There are no added preservatives or stabilizing agents.

The Australian Rain Plum has been tested to reveal very high levels of the red antioxidant – anthocyanins – known to assist in the production of hydrogen which in turns supports cellular health and aids the immune system. A Rural Industries and Development Corporation report into the Ooray fruit also found the plum contains high levels of Lutein, VitE and Folate, Zn, Mg, Ca, Mo and high potassium: sodium ration.

Plums used to produce the Mixer were tested and shown to contain 82.2 mg of anthocyanins per gram, described by the testing scientist, as ‘extraordinary. In short the Australian Rain Plum holds great promise and potential as a ‘functional food and functional drink’ line.

Sustainability and low carbon footprint are key elements of our company’s existence per se. Our ethos is to ‘make a difference, not make it worse’.
