Ooray Fermented Digestive Plum Liqueur on its way!
This is a pre -announcement. I have great pleasure in revealing what my new 100% PURE naturally fermented Ooray Plum liqueur looks like. I can also tell you the taste is equisite-something between a Damson plum and campari. Remember this plum goes back thousands of years here in Australia.
The Fruit is hand harvested from a range of plantations in the area of Northern New South Wales and the Queensland border has been used in
the fermentation process kindly undertaken by Cedric Miller of Castle Glen Winery and Liqueurs in Stanthorpe on the Granite Belt, near the Qld/NSW border.
The new Ooray Fermented Plum Liqueur from AuraGold Farms – Castle Glen.
This product will be available from farmers markets (we hope) March onwards. We have faced some licensing issues that even though we are adding value to an indigenous fruit product and undertook all collection, product concept and label and bottle design – it has to be sold under the Castle Glen banner. Personally Im so happy that we found a way to expose such a magnificently pure and 20 alc. proof liqueur product. A great antioxidant digestive with a wee punch behind it!
WATCH THIS SPACE!! and if you would like to express an interest in
buying this unique liqueur for pick up at one of our farmers markets
or direct from Castle Glen, then drop us a line on my contact page on
the revamped AuraGold Farms website. 500ml bottle will retail for
around 39.95AUD.
We will keep you informed as its release.
‘I have certainly lost weight taking a sachet of the AntiOxidant VegeShot every day and I have not felt so healthy since I started taking them – my headaches have gone and so too aches and pains in my body. My blood pressure is back to normal and my doctor has taken me off all BP medication – in fact I take NO medication at all now – the first time for a long long while. I can happily say that my only medication now is just a VegeShot sachet each day. I sincerely feel my exceptionally good health is attributable to taking a sachet a day. Thank you Scott’.

Update from Ben Nothling MD of Holster Fashion, in Noosa, Queensland about the AuraGold Farms VegeShot Antioxidant Daily Wellness Drink.
Ben continues to make whirlwind trips to Europe and Asia. Time and energy is precious to him in his growing business (check out www.holsterfashion.com.au). You may have seen his comments about his trip to the UK last year – NOW here is an update:
Ben Nothling – HolsterFashion.com.au
‘During January ‘10 I had to make a quick dash to four Asian countries with 4 days – Japan, Korea, China and Singapore. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy but you know what? I took a stash of AuraGold Farms VegeShots (beetroot, carrot, kale, Ooray Fruit and mango) with me and I have to say they got me through and out the other side with the greatest of ease – absolutely amazing!! When you travel, eating the right food and maintaining energy and strength is the hardest thing to do. I took the VegeShots sometimes twice a day and I felt energised, and above all else, my head remained clear so I could think my way through important meetings and make the next plane – really amazing stuff and 100% pure-which is what I like’.
Thanks Ben. You are really quite and amazing guy. I know your business will be a raging success and one day you and Nat can sit back and bask in this success know that all your hard work paid off.
VegeShots come in their original format with Mango and a mango version with both containing amazing levels of energy boosting anthocyanins.
Previous testimonial from Ben:
Recently Director of Holster Fashion in Noosa, Queensland, Ben Nothling needed to fly to London for four days to attend a major fashion fair. He took the AuraGold Farms VegeShot before, during and after his ‘whirlwind flight’ and here is what he had to say: ’ Truly amazing. My energy levels remained high even though I was totally out of my time zone. My time in London was really rushed and I wasn’t eating well either. The VegeShot gave me the nutrition I was looking for but what is more incredible-my ‘bounce back time’ was very quick. I didn’t wander round like a zombie like I have done in the past when I returned. I was back to the office straight away almost with good energy levels and a clear mind…really good stuff and I highly recommend it for anyone having to travel for extended periods of time’ Thanks Ben great testimonial. I should mention that last year Ben and his new wife and business partner Natalie went to Bali for their honeymoon and whilst there Ben got ‘skegged’ by the fin of a surf board. The wound became infected badly and would not heal UNTIL he applied the SeaFlower MacaDu Bi-Active Skin Serum which killed off the bacteria and healed the wound within weeks.

Kakadu Plum Gets TGA Tick – May, 2008
Following independent approaches to the TGA – The Australian Therapeutic Goods administration body – Kakadu Plum – INCI – Terminalia ferdinandiana is now permitted in medical based products requiring TGA approval. Stipulations as to appropriate use have been allowed by the TGA only when the Kakadu Plum fruit flesh is in a dry form or used as an aqueous extraction of the fruit flesh.
The TGA had approved the use of Kakadu Plum when used as an active ingredient of a medicinal product back in 2003 when it received an application from a sponsor, to have Kakadu plum concentrate (KPC) evaluated as a new complementary medicine substance for use in listed medicines. The sponsor proposed to use KPC in a range of listed vitamin and mineral supplements as a source of vitamin C.
At present the Kakadu Plum has a very limited natural distribution, localised in the northern regions of the Northern Territory, Queensland, and Western Australia. The fresh fruit, seeds, and a drink prepared from the fruit of Kakadu plum are traditional foods of Aboriginal peoples in northwestern Australia.
The use of KPC would be similar to that of rose hips, blackcurrant, and acerola cherry extracts, already approved substances for use in listed medicines, as sources of natural vitamin C, but the fruit of Kakadu plum has higher amounts of vitamin C than other known fruit.
SeaFlower-Australia uses an aqueous extraction of the KPC in its range of Rainforest skin and hair care products. Research has shown that naturally occurring VitaminC is a potent source of antioxidants. Further tests have indicated the when mixed with other components, noted for their moisturising qualities, the presence of the Kakadu Plum conditions skin and helps keep it looking younger and an appearance of subtleness.
In the case of the SeaFlower-Australia hair care range, a shampoo and conditioner contain levels of this naturally occurring VitaminC which assist in the removal of dry skin, dandruff and minor dermatological conditions. It also promotes a healthy hair follicle which in turn leads to the production of healthy looking hair.
It has also been reported that using the SeaFlower-Australia Rainforest shampoo on dogs has some affect on reducing the incidence of so called ‘ Queensland Itch’ – a minor dermatological condition emerging as a result of flea, mosquito bites or a dry climate.
